GET INVOLVED

Volunteering & Community Engagement

Our robust volunteer opportunities engage members of the community in hands-on HELP in supporting our clients. We offer service projects for all ages, for all levels of commitment, and for individuals, families or corporate groups.

Gesher LeKesher

Gesher LeKesher (Bridge to a Connection) is a national teen mentoring and leadership program implemented in synagogues for Jewish teens. Local high school juniors and seniors from many local synagogues actively participate in the building of a strong Jewish community by working with younger students once a month in mentoring groups.

Jewish Community Youth Foundation

The Jewish Community Youth Foundation (JCYF) is a Jewish youth philanthropy program for teens in grades 8 through 12. Each age group learns about the principles of tikkun olam (repairing the world), tzedakah, and philanthropy, and how they relate to their groups’ philanthropic focus areas.

Community Events

JFCS regularly hosts events open to the entire community. We are currently hosting both virtual and in-person events, check out our events page to see all upcoming programs!
