Roddie Edmonds was the only U.S. soldiers recognized as righteous among the nations. He faced a dilemma, turn over the American-Jewish soldiers under his command in the German prisoner of war camp where they were interned, or risk being shot by the prison’s commander. Roddie’s son, Pastor Chris Edmonds, will share the story of his father’s bravery and heroism. This event is brought to you by JFCS, Adath Israel & Beth Chaim Congregation.
