Project S.A.R.A.H. (Stop Abusive Relationships at Home) of Greater Mercer County
Project SARAH addresses issues relating to domestic abuse occurring
within the Jewish community. The
Project SARAH Task Force members and JFCS professional staff work

Awareness: community activities, brochures and other materials which provide basic information and resources on domestic
abuse and places for help.
Prevention: through our own teen dating relationship prevention program which was developed specifically for Jewish
high school students.

Intervention: through mental health and case management services provided as part of the regular JFCS clinical
services by professionals who are specially trained and have expertise n addressing domestic violence and related problems.

- Access to a Safe House
- Annual Women’s Seder: sponsored by Project SARAH to bring women of all ages together to celebrate being Jewish
women and to further the message of Project SARAH.
