On February 12th 2017,  JCYF successfully hosted a fantastic check ceremony. The Jewish Community Youth Foundation is a Jewish youth philanthropy program for teens in 8th through 12th grade.  Each teen contributes $120 which is matched and pooled by the Ricky and Andrew J. Shechtel Philanthropic Fund and the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks.

This results in a total giving amount of $360 per teen. Each of ten groups decide how to distribute the pooled funds to different Jewish non-profit organizations. Teens involved with this program were able to present the final amounts for each organization picked at the check ceremony.

Thank you PJmedia for writing a great article on this successful event!
